• Communications: messages and correspondence within the Platform

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

• Provide, maintain, and improve the Platform
• Process payments and calculate earnings
• Manage advertising campaigns through Meta platforms
• Send transactional emails (content approvals, payout notifications, etc.)
• Ensure platform security and prevent fraud
• Comply with legal obligations
• Communicate with you about the Platform, including service updates, onboarding, and, if you have opted in, marketing of our products and services

4. Third-Party Services

We use third-party services to operate the Platform. Services that process personal data on our behalf include:

• Authentication: Clerk: sign-up, sign-in, and account management. You interact with Clerk directly when you create your account.
• Payments: Stripe processes payouts via Stripe Connect. You enter payment details directly with Stripe; we do not see or store your full financial information.
• Advertising integration: Meta (Facebook/Instagram), when you choose to connect your Meta Ads account, we retrieve advertising performance data through Meta's Marketing API to calculate creator royalties and display analytics within the Platform.
• Infrastructure: cloud hosting, database, content storage, and transactional email delivery provided by established enterprise providers. These providers act as sub-processors and handle data only on our instructions. A current list of infrastructure sub-processors is available on request from support@hotlineugc.com.

Each named third-party service has its own privacy policy governing how they process your data.

5. Meta Platform Data

When you connect your Meta account, we access ad performance data including impressions, clicks, spend, and conversions. This data is used solely to calculate creator earnings and display performance analytics within the Platform. We do not sell or share this data with unrelated third parties.

6. Data Retention

We retain your personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide services. Content and performance data are retained for the duration of your use of the Platform. You may request deletion of your account and associated data by contacting us.

7. Data Security

We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your information, including encryption in transit (TLS/SSL), secure database connections, and access controls. However, no method of electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure.

8. Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to:

These platforms act as independent controllers of any data you provide to them directly and are subject to their own privacy policies.
